Fig 6, in your Supplement plate, is a coin of NEW JERSEY, one of the thirteen American states. Caesarea is the name of the island Jersey, and is here applied to the new colony, whose badge is the horse's head and plough: e pluribus unum, on the reverse, refers to the confederacy marked by the 13 stripes in the field.Questions?
