$3 Bills
Ezra Bowles has been tried before the Municipal Court on a
charge of passing several counterfeit $3 bills of the State Bank, knowing them
to be such. One of theses bills was offered by him in payment of coach-fare, and
on his arrest, several others of the same description were found in his
possession. The Jury returned a verdict of guilty.
