All people of any age, city, state or country may join.  The objective of the club is to widely distribute numismatic knowledge through the study and research of coins, currency, medals, tokens, and other related items,  and the wide distribution of this information through our monthly our quarterly journal, Rare Coin Magazine, and the publication of books and literature. This includes a history-making project now underway that involves the first comprehensive annual value guide for every major variety of U.S. coin in virtually every known condition, A Primary Guide to U.S. Coin Values.  

 

Joining ACC/BHCC

The ACC/BHCC is a privately funded organization, supported by membership fees and contributions, sales of publications, various service fees such as appraisals, certification and auctioneering, as well as foundation corporate and government support through advertising. The club's governing Council, which is elected every five years, in turn elects members at each of its monthly meetings. 

 

Categories of Membership

Members of ACC/BHCC receive the following benefits (each level of membership includes the benefits of all preceding categories).   If used for business or educational purposes, all membership fees are tax-deductible.

 

 

1) JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP $12 / year (Under 18 years of age)

  •  The ACC/BHCC Magazine, Rare Coin Magazine, issued quarterly, containing news and articles for collectors and investors, by collectors and investors. Annual membership Card and certificate, suitable for framing to display. 

  • 10% discount on all ACC/BHCC Books and Publications

  • 10% Consignment fee and 10% buyers fee for auction purchases, 15% non-members.

  • Free use of the ACC/BHCC book library. Check-out up to 3 books per month for 30-day study. 

  • Free use of the ACC/BHCC rare coin library. Check-out up to 3 coins per month for 30-day study. 

  • The Annual Report, summarizing the acquisitions and activities of all ACC/BHCC departments. 

  • Eligibility to purchase the Society's membership medal in bronze or silver, after one year of membership.

  • Junior members get all the benefits of associate members, by virtue of their age.  
  • Money saving coupons from our dealers.
  • Members-only access to hundreds of pages of articles on U.S. coins on the ACC/BHCC website. 
  • Free 30-word classified ad upon request in Rare Coin Magazine for each year of membership.
  • Free beginners surprise package of miscellaneous coins.

2) REGULAR MEMBERSHIP $39 / year

  • All benefits outlined in 1. above.

3) BRONZE MEMBERSHIP $95 / 3years

  • All benefits outlined in 1. above
  • Acknowledgement in the Rare Coin Magazine within 90 days and further acknowledgement in the ACC/BHCC annual report

4) SILVER MEMBERSHIP $150 / 5 years

  • All benefits outlined in 1. above
  • Attractive 8x10" Wood and Glass Frame, suitable for mounting and framing your ACC/BHCC Membership Certificate.

5) GOLD MEMBERSHIP $250 / 10 years

  • All benefits outlined in 1. above
  • 10% discount on all ACC/BHCC Photographic Certification Services.
  • 10% discount on all Certified Written Appraisal Services.
  • 10% discount on CPN Certification, Certified Professional Numismatist, home-study Certification and Education Program.

6) PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP $450 / lifetime

  • All benefits are outlined in 1. above
  • 15% discount on all ACC/BHCC Photographic Certification Services.
  • 15% discount on all Certified Written Appraisal Services.
  • 15% discount on CPN Certification, Certified Professional Numismatist, home-study Certification and Education Program.

Membership Application Procedures

 

ACC/BHCC does not currently support online submission of membership applications, to submit your membership application

3. Fill out the necessary information.

4. Include payment either by check, money order payable to ACC/BHCC, or by cash (we recommend sending cash by insured mail).
